In April of 2007 I had my regular Mammogram, the results showed an area of concern. The Mammogram was repeated in October of 2007 and I was diagonosed with DCIS - ductal carcinoma in situ also known as Milk Duct Cancer.
On November 7, 2007 I had a mastectomy. I consider myself to be very blessed because I did not require medications, chemotherapy or radiation. While at home recovering I happened to be watching the Dragon's Den on CBC. Janet from Janac Sportswear successfully made a deal with 2 Dragons to market her invention of the
